How to Apply – BCA Postgraduate Studies
To be considered for admission to BCA’s Undergraduate programme, applicants must have completed secondary school and have acquired a high school diploma or its equivalent.
The following documents are necessary to complete your file for review by the International Admissions Office:
1. Completed International Undergraduate Student Online Application which includes:
- Personal Statement: (describe how your knowledge, skills, abilities and experience make you a suitable candidate.)
- € 100 application non-refundable processing fee payable by Bank Draft to BCA College.
2. Transcripts and Official Records
- Official Transcript from the previous institution showing subjects taken and grades received translated in the English language.
- Photocopy of Bachelor’s degree
3. English Language Entry Requirements Those who wish to attend our postgraduate courses are required to submit one of the following certifications (applicants who have attended a BA programme in which the language of instruction was English are exempted from the following requirements):
- IELTS: a score of 6.0
- TOEFL iBT: a score of 580, or of 237 in the computer based test
- Cambridge Advanced Certificate (CAE): Grade B or above
- Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): Grade C or above
4. Two Letters of Recommendation (from your professors or employer) 5. Photocopy of passport or identification card 6. Two passport-size colour photographs 7. Two years working experience (required for MBA, MBA with Hospitality & Tourism, and for our LLM in Maritime Law programmes). Please note that we will also consider applications from prospective students who have an HND certificate or a professional certificate and sufficient work experience. Applicants with a DMS certificate can be admitted to an advanced stage of our MBA and MBA with Hospitality & Tourism programmes. Prospective students who wish to apply for our DMS and DMS in Shipping programmes should submit the following application material:
- Application form
- 2 reference letters (from your professors or employer)
- A photocopy of your degree certificate plus two years of appropriate work experience in a administrative position. Applicants without the above qualifications could be considered provided they have substantial relevant work experience.
- A photocopy of your identity card or passport
- 2 colored photographs
- Those who wish to attend our postgraduate courses in English are required to submit one of the following certifications (applicants who have attended a BA programme in which the language of instruction was English are exempted from the following requirements):
- IELTS: a score of 6.0 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each part of the test)
- TOEFL iBT: a score of 580 or 237 in the computer based test
- Cambridge Advanced Certificate (CAE): Grade B or above
- Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): Grade C or above
- A relevant score in the BCA English Language Placement Test
